Two Karthis in ÂSiruthaiÂ

Karthi Sivakumar has confirmed that he is doing a dual role for the first time in his career in ÂSiruthaiÂ, his forthcoming film. ÂIt is an emotional movie which will be packed commerciallyÂ, he says.
On his double role, he says, ÂBoth characters are strikingly different from each other and give me ample scope for performance. As an actor, I am really happy to take up the challenge in Siruthai.Â
Cinematographer-turned-director Shiva will wield the megaphone for ÂSiruthaiÂ, which will be produced by K E Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green. Tamannah, KarthiÂs lady love in ÂPaiyaaÂ, will romance him once again in this movie.
On his roping in by a top telecom company as its brand ambassador, the actor says, ÂThis shows the faith they have in me. Otherwise, it would not have been possible for a four-film old actorÂ.
